It is generally understood that it is important for your business/brand/product to have a social media presence. Countless books have been written on the subject, major conferences have been created around the topic and blogs aplenty have advice to share with anyone who is interested. According to socialmedia today contributor Pam Moore the one thing that is true about social media is that it isn’t easy to understand. In her blog article “There’s No Social Media “Easy” Button” Ms. Moore articulates what she considers to be myths about social media and an easy path to return on investment. The article ends by offering a bit of sage advice; your messages should be about people. As a rhetorician I find this both spot on and reassuring.
